At the heart of this piece rests a fully three-dimensional Death's-Head Hawkmoth, sculpted by hand from a recycled tissue box and the pages of old maps. Every wing, every haunting detail shaped without a pattern — pure intuition given form. She perches in quiet stillness atop an upturned mushroom cap, as though pausing between worlds.

Behind her, an original collage drawn from the visual language of late 1960s boho wall hangings bleeds past the black and gold double matting, refusing to be contained. The deliberately mismatched circles lend the background an inside-out quality, as if the wall itself has been turned inward.
